SCSI Priority: Each device connected to the SCSI port on your computer is assigned a priority (also referred to as a SCSI ID). Each device must have a different priority. If there are two or more devices with the same priority, the devices will not operate correctly. To change the SCSI priority of an internal (i) UltraDrive or any FX/FI, run the DriveManager and drag the drive’s icon from one SCSI priority to another. To change the SCSI priority of an external UltraDrive you will need to change the SCSI switch setting on the back of the drive. See the manual for more information. Many other devices’ SCSI priorities are changed by setting switches or dials. Refer to the appropriate user’s manuals for more information about how to change their SCSI priorities. Note that some devices are set to a single SCSI priority which cannot be changed. Do not assign any other SCSI device that SCSI priority.
